When the objective it to secure the motivation of all personnel, it is particularly important that it starts at the top. Strong, shared leadership – together with clear justifications for change and a vision of the desired objectives – constitutes the fundamental prerequisite for successful change communication. This must also strive to alleviate the fear of making unpleasant decisions or of losing power among management, so that their flexibility and readiness to implement changes can be increased.
Instruments for fostering the development of management as change managers are therefore a particular focus of Peakom’s work. We make use of existing structures and methods within the company, while also implementing new management measures, in order to increase the direct benefits of the transformation for this group.
